The Pecém fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denílson Leão should have stopped the shot. Pecém's Denílson Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 狄崇松 in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Xie Shu Tian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger Miguelez was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. The supporters of Vilela FC booed when Pecém was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo de Carvalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute, Xie Shu Tian made a precise shot to the right of Roger Miguelez. Vilela FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 15th minute, Arnaldo Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When 狄崇松 came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vilela FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 狄崇松 couldn't finish the play. Roger Miguelez made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Xie Shu Tian sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, Pecém was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Austin to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Vilela FC's Baldomero Valerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Roger Miguelez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Shu Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Roger Miguelez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Shu Tian in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Pecém got a corner. Vilela FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ibon Obeso ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pecém's Cristiano Andrade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roger Miguelez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Vilela FC's Roger Miguelez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xie Shu Tian in the 33rd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Vilela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xie Shu Tian came free, but Roger Miguelez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 39 minutes of play, Pecém's Xie Shu Tian made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roger Miguelez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xie Shu Tian took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roger Miguelez. Roger Miguelez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Valerio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Pecém was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Schroeder to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes, Xie Shu Tian made it 4-2 with a short kick to the right side. Vilela FC's Roger Miguelez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 59 minutes into the game, Pecém's Xie Shu Tian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 73rd match minute, Vilela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ángel Di Maria to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Xie Shu Tian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pecém's supporters rose to their feet, but Xie Shu Tian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Miguelez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roger Miguelez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xie Shu Tian in the 80th minute of the match. After 86th play minutes Xie Shu Tian shot 6-2, a short shot which went by Roger Miguelez and just under the crossbar into goal. After 89 played minutes Vilela FC got a freekick which was hit by Ángel Di Maria. After a defensive mix-up in Vilela FC's zone, Xie Shu Tian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Miguelez came out of the goal and Xie Shu Tian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinedine Pogba in the 92nd minute of play forced Pecém's goalkeeper Denílson Leão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Xie Shu Tian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Miguelez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roger Miguelez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xie Shu Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pecém had won after a very even match.
