Ferreira Lopes MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitório Soeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 10 minutes into the game, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Dário Martins nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sílvio Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Zemantauskas FC's Sílvio Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Alcântara in the 13th minute of play. Ferreira Lopes MZC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dedé Paiva in the 15th minute. The corner led Ferreira Lopes MZC's Dedé Paiva to fire away a dangerous shot which Sílvio Penha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Ferreira Lopes MZC booed when Zemantauskas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Negri didn't get a good kick on the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dário Martins made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Zemantauskas FC's David Leal got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, Ronaldo Alcântara dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sílvio Penha, 1-2. If Ronaldo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 69th minute Ronaldo Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sílvio Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedé Paiva to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Miguel Negri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomé Montenegro skillfully saved the ball. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Ronaldo Alcântara put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Sílvio Penha. João Francisco Vianna made in the 76th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Zemantauskas FC's Hernani Branco. In the 77th minute, Miguel Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sílvio Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronaldo Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Tomé Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Leal in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute Zemantauskas FC were awarded a corner. Miguel Negri went to the cornerflag to take it. After 90 played minutes Zemantauskas FC got a freekick which was hit by Valdir Ortiz. Ferreira Lopes MZC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
