In the 61st minute, Senen Tartales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demetrio Cannata might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Miguel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Demetrio Cannata ran back to his position shaking his head. José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Jan Mlejnek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EoDu Uai Sôccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Dortmund MZB the free kick.
