Despite this Nestor Quirino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. América-SC F.C.'s Nestor Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juninho Eger in the 8th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafinha Custódio in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Quirino saved América-SC F.C. from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Rafinha Custódio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nestor Quirino quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Rafinha Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Jaime Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Quirino having to interfere. Frederico Melo's late challenge caught a E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frederico Melo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th minute Rafinha Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Quirino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafinha Custódio in the 93rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Secco in the 95th minute of play forced E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE's goalkeeper Juninho Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. E.C.MUKY JOINVILLE had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
