Pino Coryn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Khalid Kennedy having to make a save. Young Ostend United's Loid Gijsbrechts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Micah Macdonald in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Issac Dawson made a precise shot to the right of Loid Gijsbrechts. Young Ostend United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. When Young Ostend United's Cedrik Neesens, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Young Ostend United. But to his dismay, Johnny Van Hoeyvelt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Khalid Kennedy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cedrik Neesens in the 68th minute of the match. Natan De Mayer hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kyle Cox in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loid Gijsbrechts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 74 minutes of play, Young Ostend United's Johnny Van Hoeyvelt made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, Issac Dawson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Loid Gijsbrechts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brian Smet was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 81 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Young Ostend United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Loid Gijsbrechts, was totally fooled by England's Micah Macdonald, who 83 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Xavier Gallagher hit a great ball. Issac Dawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Loid Gijsbrechts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. England's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
