With a little luck, Faro querandi's Alejo Frichoso got control of the ball when Carabalí Mareide tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, YerBaTerOs's Roberto Maurino got a free kick in the 18th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Vedillo in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Grueso Roca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejo Frichoso was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Xayvion Borrajo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xayvion Borrajo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carabalí Mareide got free with Alejo Frichoso in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of YerBaTerOs booed when Faro querandi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Gilesindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavica Almaraz took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejo Frichoso. Alejo Frichoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Mauricio Obaldia managed to get in a good position for a shot. YerBaTerOs's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Obaldia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alejo Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Faro querandi booed when YerBaTerOs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Díaz Dalmases didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grueso Roca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Vedillo in the 41st minute of play forced YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Grueso Roca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

YerBaTerOs made a substitution. Xencio Galaz replaced Gavica Almaraz. YerBaTerOs's Urtsin Rayon was substituted for Mauricio Obaldia. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Vedillo to make the kick off. Alejo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xencio Galaz in the 55th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the game, YerBaTerOs's Carabalí Mareide nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejo Frichoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 68thth minute of the game Urtsin Rayon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Faro querandi's Alejo Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 69 played minutes Faro querandi got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Calvet. 73 minutes into the match, Faro querandi's goal looked a bit too open when Urtsin Rayon came free, but Alejo Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carabalí Mareide in the 76th minute of play forced Faro querandi's goalkeeper Alejo Frichoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Carabalí Mareide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Vedillo in the 80th minute of play forced YerBaTerOs's goalkeeper Grueso Roca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Frichoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xencio Galaz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Achaz Ludueña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Renteria took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alejo Frichoso. Faro querandi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Grueso Roca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Vedillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute Xencio Galaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Frichoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, YerBaTerOs's Paúl Mambliga got a free kick in the 97th minute. Faro querandi's Silverio Calvet shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Grueso Roca but with some difficulty. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The YerBaTerOs fans cheered their team off the field, for while Faro querandi had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
