When Eugen Croitoru fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GoalHunters's protests and gave Eugen Croitoru a yellow card for diving instead. Eugen Croitoru kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Vestfjorden FK's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Jerrold came free, but Gil Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gil Ceni came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by GoalHunters's João Gaúcho. But to his dismay, João Gaúcho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a rather tough play, GoalHunters's Mihăiţă Văduva got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute Pedro Jerrold shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gil Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Jerrold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gil Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panait Vişoiu in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute Liu Yu Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gil Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vestfjorden FK's Gil Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panait Vişoiu in the 30th minute of play. When Ståle Stokkan fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vestfjorden FK's protests and gave Ståle Stokkan a yellow card for diving instead. Ståle Stokkan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute of the match Leontin Traianescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gil Ceni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Pedro Jerrold notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Vestfjorden FK's Gil Ceni. Gil Ceni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gil Ceni came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by GoalHunters's Pedro Jerrold. But to his dismay, Pedro Jerrold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to GoalHunters getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Leontin Traianescu hit a great ball. Thor Hesjedal in the 45thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Daniel Jienescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jørgen Holmgren in the 47th minute of play forced GoalHunters's goalkeeper Daniel Jienescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Gaúcho was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bhadrayu Sethi during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute of the match Ståle Stokkan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Jienescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Birk Johannessen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Dante Iratze kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Leontin Traianescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Gil Ceni made a huge save. When Ståle Stokkan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. In the 67th minute, Ståle Stokkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Gaúcho in the 69th minute of the match. Vestfjorden FK's Gil Ceni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Vestfjorden FK from getting a goal against them. Thor Hesjedal scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Jienescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thor Hesjedal charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thor Hesjedal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gil Ceni came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by GoalHunters's Pedro Jerrold. But to his dismay, Pedro Jerrold quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some careless play in the Vestfjorden FK defense, Darius Plop kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Ceni. The Vestfjorden FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Ceni should have stopped the shot. Gil Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Jerrold in the 91st minute of play. The Vestfjorden FK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. GoalHunters were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
