Boris Raich scored 2-2 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 61st minute, Caaguazu's Reyes Barcenilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Dieter Eberle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johannes Tidén in the 66th minute. Dieter Eberle was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Johannes Tidén capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Johannes Tidén really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. In the 73rd match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dominic Ott to maneuver through the defense. Dieter Eberle came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Caaguazu's Johannes Tidén. But to his dismay, Johannes Tidén quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. Johannes Tidén recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Caaguazu's Mauro Bocaran got a free kick in the 91st minute. Caaguazu's Johnny Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konrad Cakir in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Caaguazu were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Borussia Dortmund side.
