In the 9th minute Bawang Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilhelm Falkrantz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verner Giliusson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Paijo Sutrisna made a huge save. The corner ended in Svante Hult almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SAPI FC's Paijo Sutrisna did a great save. Gottfrid Holm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paijo Sutrisna having to interfere. Wilhelm Falkrantz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duta Setiawan, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of Falconer FC booed when SAPI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bawang Merah didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jimmy Grep could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Paijo Sutrisna made a huge save. Oscar Holmberg made in the 27th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SAPI FC's Martinus Bachdim. After 30 minutes, Bawang Merah made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Falconer FC's Wilhelm Falkrantz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Falconer FC's zone, Bawang Merah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilhelm Falkrantz came out of the goal and Bawang Merah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paijo Sutrisna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gottfrid Holm's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. When Bawang Merah came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SAPI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bawang Merah couldn't finish the play. Wilhelm Falkrantz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bawang Merah's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bawang Merah in the 47th minute of play forced Falconer FC's goalkeeper Wilhelm Falkrantz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lars Sjöberg was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 81 minutes, Gottfrid Holm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falconer FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gottfrid Holm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Duta Setiawan put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Wilhelm Falkrantz. The SAPI FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
