Rodrigo Banegas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Franko Estades made a precise shot to the right of Alejo Frichoso. Faro querandi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 29 minutes into the match, Corderall Caicedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejo Frichoso. With his leg Johnny Paredes managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Faro querandi's Felipe Vedillo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Silverio Calvet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 40 minutes of play, Caaguazu's Arlo Albiz made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alejo Frichoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caaguazu's Johnny Paredes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Caaguazu from getting a goal against them. In the 47th match minute, Caaguazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Franko Estades to maneuver through the defense. The Faro querandi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caaguazu were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Felipe Vedillo was the one to do the kick off. Caaguazu's Johnny Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Calvet in the 52nd minute of play. Arnaldo Gilesindo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Silverio Calvet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caaguazu's Jorge Roman was substituted for Franko Estades. Johnny Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Calvet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 minutes Faro querandi's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Malvin Vidaurre who took care of the corner kick. Felipe Vedillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Johnny Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Faro querandi's goal looked a bit too open when Malvin Vidaurre came free, but Alejo Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silverio Calvet scored 1-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Johnny Paredes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alejo Frichoso made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Arlo Albiz sent off a good shot on target.
