The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Bocaran helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caaguazu getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Mauro Bocaran hit a great ball. Luzea Bebias came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by SAPI FC's Duta Setiawan. But to his dismay, Duta Setiawan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bawang Merah sped through Caaguazu's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luzea Bebias. The audience was convinced that Bawang Merah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luzea Bebias was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, SAPI FC's Bawang Merah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luzea Bebias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bawang Merah in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luzea Bebias saved Caaguazu from getting behind. After some careless play in the Caaguazu defense, Duta Setiawan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luzea Bebias. The Caaguazu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luzea Bebias should have stopped the shot. Luzea Bebias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duta Setiawan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 minutes Caaguazu's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bawang Merah who took care of the corner kick. Diegotxe Foubelo tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Luzea Bebias. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-7 in the 30th minute. 38 minutes into the game, Bawang Merah cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Luzea Bebias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bawang Merah in the 47th minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Luzea Bebias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Duta Setiawan to strike the kick off in the second half. Daffa Sopandi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Luzea Bebias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paijo Sutrisna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Rojas in the 54th minute of play. After a rather tough play, SAPI FC's Tyo Syarifudin got a free kick in the 54th minute. Baldomero Vellon made in the 61st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Malvin Vidaurre however managed to control. When Caaguazu's Daniel Rojas in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SAPI FC's goalie prevented a goal. Luzea Bebias made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Tyo Syarifudin sent off a good shot on target. The corner led SAPI FC's Bawang Merah to fire away a dangerous shot which Luzea Bebias despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 68 minutes into the game, SAPI FC's Bawang Merah nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luzea Bebias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. Bawang Merah succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 73rd playminute. SAPI FC's Nuralim Adnyana quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Baldomero Vellon, made in the 77th minute of the game. With a little luck, Caaguazu's Luzea Bebias got control of the ball when Bawang Merah tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Bawang Merah came free, but Luzea Bebias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luzea Bebias was a little too slow when Bawang Merah got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-11. Trifon Trúnkov kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Arlo Albiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caaguazu's Malvin Vidaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Bawang Merah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luzea Bebias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute Arlo Albiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paijo Sutrisna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Caaguazu supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SAPI FC's performance. The match ended with a win for SAPI FC.
