Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eustaquio Turi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led CD Boiro's Edgar Figari to fire away a dangerous shot which Joseba Diez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Ponte Riba Dil C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Figari in the 16th minute of play forced Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goalkeeper Joseba Diez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Qwinton Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s Anxo Gómez got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Perico Raya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gau Olle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute Ponte Riba Dil C.F. were awarded a corner. Garaona Salgado went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CD Boiro's goalie and right to Gau Olle. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CD Boiro's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Steve Mur charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Mur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CD Boiro getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Steve Mur hit a great ball. Garaona Salgado's late challenge caught a CD Boiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garaona Salgado helped the player get up and apologised. Garaona Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Turi made a kick off. In the 74th match minute, Ponte Riba Dil C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garaona Salgado to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Ponte Riba Dil C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Figari came free, but Joseba Diez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Ponte Riba Dil C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Görkem Güneş didn't get a good kick on the ball.
