The audience thought a goal was coming when Nereo Cacheres got free with Frederico Gaspar in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Unzueta in the 24th minute of play forced Los once leones Ourense's goalkeeper Albano Unzueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Albano Unzueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Unzueta in the 27th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dabi Vila in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederico Gaspar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the !Pabellon Ourense C.F. defense, Pablo-Enrique Alabern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Frederico Gaspar. The !Pabellon Ourense C.F. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frederico Gaspar should have stopped the shot. Ginés Figueres hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Albano Unzueta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Soldado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
