When Michael Riells fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riemannian's protests and gave Michael Riells a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Fillos de Breogán booed when Riemannian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Riells didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xesc Rallo in the 5th minute of play forced Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Franco Jofre got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Garibaldo Quijana quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Xesc Rallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 9 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goal looked a bit too open when Xesc Rallo came free, but Garibaldo Quijana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valerio Quintanilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orti Sánchez in the 12th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lope Herrero to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Riemannian defense, Calisto Abril kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valerio Quintanilla. The Riemannian fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valerio Quintanilla should have stopped the shot. Valerio Quintanilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calisto Abril's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes Riemannian's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gelacio Campomanes who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gelacio Campomanes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valerio Quintanilla quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesc Rallo in the 28th minute of play. A collision led to Fillos de Breogán getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lope Herrero hit a great ball. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesc Rallo in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute of the match Riemannian got a corner. Fillos de Breogán's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Franco Jofre ran over to the corner to take the kick. Franco Jofre made a great header on Riemannian's corner, it was just that Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana managed to reach the ball for a save. Orti Sánchezs short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Valerio Quintanilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Valerio Quintanilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orti Sánchez in the 39th minute of play. Garibaldo Quijana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Campos in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Riemannian's Timo Climent got a free kick in the 41st minute. The supporters of Riemannian booed when Fillos de Breogán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orti Sánchez didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Orti Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 56th match minute, Fillos de Breogán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızalp Ulaş to maneuver through the defense. If Orti Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chico Campos got free with Garibaldo Quijana in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Garibaldo Quijana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xesc Rallo in the 67th minute of the match. Xesc Rallo might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Garibaldo Quijana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xesc Rallo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Riemannian's zone, Calisto Abril stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valerio Quintanilla came out of the goal and Calisto Abril tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xesc Rallo in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Garibaldo Quijana, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 87 played minutes Fillos de Breogán got a freekick which was hit by Gelacio Campomanes. Roi Abril kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes Riemannian got a freekick which was hit by Baleren Acedo. Fillos de Breogán's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
