With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joseba Diez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gau Olle got free with Garibaldo Quijana in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Fillos de Breogán's goalkeeper Garibaldo Quijana had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gau Olle. With a little luck, Fillos de Breogán's Garibaldo Quijana got control of the ball when Gau Olle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Garibaldo Quijana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Qwinton Lastras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Calisto Abril quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Orti Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseba Diez having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ponte Riba Dil C.F. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fillos de Breogán.
