Xesc Rallo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perico Raya having to interfere. Perico Raya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xesc Rallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Riemannian was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Campos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Riemannian's Xesc Rallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Perico Raya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valerio Quintanilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Paz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes Riemannian's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Demario Cuadrado who took care of the corner kick. CD Boiro's Gilberto Feria was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Valerio Quintanilla in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If Xesc Rallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Perico Raya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xesc Rallo in the 32nd minute of play. Riemannian's Valerio Quintanilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Riemannian from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Xesc Rallo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Perico Raya was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Xesc Rallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xesc Rallo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perico Raya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Riemannian's Valerio Quintanilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demario Cuadrado in the 41st minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustaquio Turi made a kick off. Xesc Rallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Perico Raya stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Campos's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Ion Fernandez made in the 54th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ferdinand Paz however managed to control. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Edgar Figari got a free kick in the 68th minute. Xesc Rallo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perico Raya having to make a save. CD Boiro's Perico Raya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xesc Rallo in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chico Campos got free with Perico Raya in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the game, Xesc Rallo lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Perico Raya. In the 81st minute Xesc Rallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th match minute, CD Boiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Riemannian's Xesc Rallo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Perico Raya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Riemannian supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Riemannian would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
