Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paul Theissen started the match with the kick off. After having played for 5 minutes, Valdemar Wennerström managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blågula BollAtleter's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdemar Wennerström was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathias Ludvigsen hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Tomas Biörling came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Blågula BollAtleter fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Biörling couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Paul Theissen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Paul Theissen made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Blågula BollAtleter's Tom Vandendriessche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Keld Paulsen managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Blågula BollAtleter's Paul Theissen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The throw-in from Allan Larsson in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. If Tomas Biörling had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Theissen in the 34th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Vandendriessche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 35th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paul Theissen's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Paul Theissen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Keld Paulsen. That made the score 2-0 in the 38 minute of play. Paul Theissen had several of the Denmark's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Keld Paulsen as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Paul Theissen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. Alexander Ingvall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Blågula BollAtleter's Börge Sellberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chris Nygaard kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Paul Theissen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Blågula BollAtleter fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Paul Theissen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Ingvall came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bertram Svenningsen in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Vandendriessche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alexander Ingvall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chris Nygaard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Tom Vandendriessche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Vandendriessche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After some careless play in the Blågula BollAtleter defense, Bertram Svenningsen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Vandendriessche. The Blågula BollAtleter fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Vandendriessche should have stopped the shot. Blågula BollAtleter's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
