Ernesto Giordano charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Sílvio Piola could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Ismael Neruda made a huge save. If Alfonso Mauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 minutes, Rutenio Anatibia made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. SSC Special Eleven's Damian Ştiopul tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
