The audience thought a goal was coming when Zachary Krzynowek got free with Oswaldo Allende in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Iglesias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Iglesias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Édouard Mendy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Intriago Viles made a great header on YerBaTerOs's corner, it was just that Fc. CzApEnCe's Édouard Mendy managed to reach the ball for a save. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Iglesias in the 43rd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the game, YerBaTerOs's Ruben Iglesias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Édouard Mendy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krzysztof Balonek in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oswaldo Allende saved YerBaTerOs from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andres Anguciana in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Édouard Mendy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andres Anguciana might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Édouard Mendy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andres Anguciana ran back to his position shaking his head. Fc. CzApEnCe's Édouard Mendy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Fc. CzApEnCe from getting a goal against them. Édouard Mendy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucio Bruna in the 79th minute of the match.
