GoalHunters's Fortunato Chioda got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavius Maiorescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivo Katúrov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute Mathieu Gaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simion Pop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Yann Guillemin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Elegance Dijon's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Chioda came free, but Ivo Katúrov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fortunato Chioda in the 66th minute of play forced Elegance Dijon's goalkeeper Ivo Katúrov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 minutes of play, GoalHunters's Fortunato Chioda made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The GoalHunters fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elegance Dijon had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
