The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simion Pop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Serwach in the 14th minute of play. Oliver Dovina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Chioda in the 19th minute of the match. Astral Roots Gdynia's Oliver Dovina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Maiorescu in the 21st minute of play. Marian Serwach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marian Serwach's late challenge caught a GoalHunters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marian Serwach helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Astral Roots Gdynia getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Marian Serwach hit a great ball. Oliver Dovina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isac Ciomag in the 33rd minute of the match. Oliver Dovina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Chioda, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Astral Roots Gdynia's Benedykt Jarosiewicz got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, GoalHunters's Fortunato Chioda sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oliver Dovina narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 44 minutes into the match, Fortunato Chioda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oliver Dovina. Astral Roots Gdynia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fortunato Chioda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 47 minutes into the game, one of Astral Roots Gdynia:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half GoalHunters were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Oliver Dovina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fortunato Chioda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. GoalHunters were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Astral Roots Gdynia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Casian Caba took the corner. In the 56th minute, Fortunato Chioda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Flavius Maiorescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Oliver Dovina made a huge save. Simion Pop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Pinczewski in the 59th minute of play. After 61 minutes, Isac Ciomag mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GoalHunters and the Astral Roots Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Astral Roots Gdynia booed when GoalHunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isac Ciomag didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Chiodas short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Oliver Dovina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Oliver Dovina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fortunato Chioda in the 66th minute of the match. Aleksander Karp kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Fortunato Chioda received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Oliver Dovina came out and tried to block the shot, but Fortunato Chioda slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 74th minute. Fortunato Chioda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oliver Dovina having to make a save. Simion Pop came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Astral Roots Gdynia's Benedykt Jarosiewicz. But to his dismay, Benedykt Jarosiewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. When Marian Serwach was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 86th minute, Marian Serwach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Tilincă hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, Astral Roots Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Fortunato Chioda came free, but Oliver Dovina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to GoalHunters getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. George Voicescu hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the game, Valerian Zotincă threw the ball into play from the sideline. Astral Roots Gdynia's Benedykt Jarosiewicz quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Flavius Maiorescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Dovina having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. GoalHunters walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
