Jean Alves hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the match, Real Santista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Valente came free, but Magno Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Magno Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brendan Menguy, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Elegance Dijon's Lamine Valente in the 34th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Magno Leme was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Real Santista FC through an amazing save. Magno Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathieu Gaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omer Grosse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas da Rocha, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Elegance Dijon's Omer Grosse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas da Rocha in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Lamine Valente made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Real Santista FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lamine Valente came free, but Magno Leme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas da Rocha could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Omer Grosse however easily saved by the left post. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Santista FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
