The Spams fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 17th minute Adam Bareiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Atarrabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelino Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Vimaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Escocia's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Vimaro came free, but Marcelino Atarrabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 minutes, Saul Fiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Escocia and the Spams players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute of the match Dado Pršo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelino Atarrabi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Leonel Caponi could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Faustino Jerold however easily saved by the left post. Marcelino Atarrabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Mouricio in the 27th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, Spams's Emanuel Mouricio made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelino Atarrabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dado Pršo scored 0-5 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Atarrabi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Vimaro in the 38th minute of play forced Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Marcelino Atarrabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristo Lizer hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute, Adam Bareiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Atarrabi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Marcelino Atarrabi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adam Bareiro went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. After the first half Spams were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Caponi made a kick off. Marcelino Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Fergus León got a free kick in the 55th minute. Club Atlético Escocia's Marcelino Atarrabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Escobar in the 57th minute of play. Marcelino Atarrabi came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Spams's Fabio Vimaro. But to his dismay, Fabio Vimaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Saul Fiz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Marcelino Atarrabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Atarrabi made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Herminio Escobar sent off a good shot on target. Venancio Mikolas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 65 minutes into the match. After 66 minutes Club Atlético Escocia's goalkeeper Marcelino Atarrabi managed, with a little bit of luck, save Emanuel Mouricio's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 66th minute, Emanuel Mouricio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelino Atarrabi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Spams made a substitution. Americo Matia replaced Emanuel Mouricio. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by Spams's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Titan Nahas was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Atlético Escocia's players had a chance to rest. Titan Nahas made a great header on Club Atlético Escocia's corner, it was just that Spams's Faustino Jerold managed to reach the ball for a save. Fabio Vimaro scored 0-11 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcelino Atarrabi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Matia got free with Marcelino Atarrabi in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Atlético Escocia's Marcelino Atarrabi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Escocia from getting a goal against them. Marcelino Atarrabi made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Americo Matia sent off a good shot on target.
