The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 18th minute, Danny Clegg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pat Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Ostargi in the 26th minute of play. Ezequiel Osmundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Spike Bond, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Memphis Grizzlies's Pat Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Gergori in the 29th minute of play. Piara Peto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Nicolás Blandi kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Kakeros FC's Amado Macario seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Amado Macario the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Kakeros FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Amado Macario had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, Kakeros FC's Amado Macario got a free kick in the 34th minute. Freddie Gettins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Danny Clegg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Ezequiel Osmundo made a huge save. Kakeros FC's Ezequiel Osmundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddie Gettins in the 42nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Memphis Grizzlies's Freddie Gettins got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Erling Haaland came free, but Ezequiel Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, one of Memphis Grizzlies:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Kakeros FC a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Denis Gergori, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Memphis Grizzlies's Pat Zamora. 0-2. After the first half Kakeros FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The supporters of Memphis Grizzlies booed when Kakeros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Gergori didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Clegg in the 53rd minute of play forced Kakeros FC's goalkeeper Ezequiel Osmundo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pat Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Berto in the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Kakeros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Clegg came free, but Ezequiel Osmundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
