Denis Cidro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Astor Efren made a huge save. Astor Efren made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Denis Cidro sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Astor Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Nemesio Cordaryal took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Hugo Gatti to make any attempt to save it. Shane Milligan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Hugo Gatti made a huge save. After some careless play in the Yupandú FC defense, Ciro Niguel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Efren. The Yupandú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Efren should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute of the match, Delmiro Frutos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hugo Gatti saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Nicanor Aragones kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Astor Efren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Niguel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 defense, Shane Milligan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hugo Gatti. The DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Gatti should have stopped the shot. In the 94thth minute of the game Shane Milligan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DξPΘЯΤIVØ 25's Hugo Gatti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Yupandú FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
