The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 14th minute, Delmiro Frutos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iker Cristos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Iker Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Cordaryal, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th match minute, Descamisados CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Niva to maneuver through the defense. Iker Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Enaut, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Iker Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The Descamisados CF players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yupandú FC were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Esteban Elizardo was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Esteban Elizardo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Efren was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 58 minutes into the match, Descamisados CF's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Emesto came free, but Iker Cristos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Ranolfo's late challenge caught a Yupandú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Ranolfo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th minute, Camilo Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute Delmiro Frutos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Yupandú FC's Everardo Emesto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Cristos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Yupandú FC's Delmiro Frutos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Iker Cristos. That made the score 1-4 after 67 minutes of play. Yupandú FC made a substitution. Shane Milligan replaced Everardo Emesto. Iker Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Milligan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nemesio Cordaryal fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yupandú FC's protests and gave Nemesio Cordaryal a yellow card for diving instead. Nemesio Cordaryal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Astor Efren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Esteban Elizardo's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After 77 minutes of play Yupandú FC's Nemesio Cordaryal was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Yupandú FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nemesio Cordaryal hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Carlos Marcones shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Astor Efren showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Delmiro Frutos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yupandú FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Delmiro Frutos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Cristos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Quiroga in the 84th minute of play forced Descamisados CF's goalkeeper Iker Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Delmiro Frutos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Cristos. That made the score 1-5 in the 88 minute of play. Iker Cristos made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Shane Milligan sent off a good shot on target. The Descamisados CF supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yupandú FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Yupandú FC.
