Demesio Galarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Emesto, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Everardo Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demesio Galarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmiro Frutos in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demesio Galarreta saved CON-E-CO from getting behind. Demesio Galarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Emesto in the 15th minute of the match. Demesio Galarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Emesto in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mikolas Olan in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Astor Efren saved Yupandú FC from getting behind. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Rosas helped the player get up and apologised. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Everardo Emesto made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Everardo Emesto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Demesio Galarreta. CON-E-CO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Everardo Emesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Demesio Galarreta came out of the goal and Melquiades Ponce tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Mauro Rosas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Efren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demesio Galarreta stood somewhat misplaced when Shane Milligan came free in front of goal and shot 1-3 to the left of him in the 76 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Shane Milligan in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Demesio Galarreta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Shane Milligan took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Demesio Galarreta to make any attempt to save it. 91 minutes into the match, CON-E-CO's goalkeeper Demesio Galarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nemesio Cordaryal. If Gilesindo Tarapiella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
