Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Balvanera from getting a goal against them. When Pedro Pabla came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Pabla couldn't finish the play. After having played for 46 minutes, Marco Ruben managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Marco Ruben was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Florencio Godoy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of ROSARIO CENTRAL F.C. booed when Deportivo Balvanera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Ruben, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
