Descamisados CF's Carlos Marcones got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iker Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteban Elizardo made a kick off. Eulalio Aimar hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Iker Cristos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Aimar in the 52nd minute. If Eulalio Aimar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jaime Cordero kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Cristos. That made the score 0-7 in the 89 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Camilo Ranolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Eufemio was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
