Leon Roldan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Cordarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baltasar Walme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Cayetano Behe made a huge save. In the 41st match minute, Deportivo Balvanera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Inautzi to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice moves Juan Bittor could shoot a difficult shot in the 43rd minute, which Cayetano Behe however easily saved by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Cordarin to make the kick off. When Severino Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Howling Dawn U18's protests and gave Severino Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Severino Cruz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Teo Oinatz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Howling Dawn U18's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Inautzi came free, but Leon Roldan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Baltasar Walme cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Cordeiro in the 73rd minute of play. Baltasar Walme struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Cayetano Behe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Howling Dawn U18. In the 76th minute, Teodosio Serapio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Bittor in the 77th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Fernan Blai got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute of the match Erasmo Oskarbi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cayetano Behe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leon Roldan was a little too slow when Gilberto Inautzi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 85th minute. The score was now 1-2. Cayetano Behe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Cordeiro in the 90th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Deportivo Balvanera eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
