The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dean Hurst during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Dean Hurst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Heavenly Hooters's zone, Delmar Fresco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Connor came out of the goal and Delmar Fresco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kyle Connor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Sergi in the 17th minute of the match. Jonatan Frechoso's late challenge caught a Heavenly Hooters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonatan Frechoso helped the player get up and apologised. Jonatan Frechoso hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Harold Lloyd kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Marco Sergi sped through Heavenly Hooters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kyle Connor. Kyle Connor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Fresco in the 41st minute of play. Barry Lowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Saul Martxel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Max Langford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Martxel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
