The referee ignored Howling Dawn U18's protests and gave Dalmacio Natal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Howling Dawn U18 getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Dalmacio Natal hit a great ball. In the 13th minute Leonides Tulio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santos Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrigo Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Braulio Lehior hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Moises Belo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Howling Dawn U18's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Belo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigo Pes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Bittor hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Bittor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 27 minutes into the game, when Ovidio Ralondo put in a rough tackle. Rodrigo Pes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Espiridion's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Howling Dawn U18's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Leonides Tulio scored to the left of an out of position Santos Hori, making the score, 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Caballeritos del Baile's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Bittor came free, but Rodrigo Pes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was a well-played corner which Dalmacio Natal managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Santos Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Tulio in the 41st minute of play. Santos Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Tulio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Caballeritos del Baile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Lehior to maneuver through the defense. Rodrigo Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Espiridion in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fidel Espiridion to strike the kick off in the second half. Santos Hori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentino Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute, Fidel Espiridion reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Pes. The goal made the score 1-2. Rodrigo Pes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fidel Espiridion, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Rodrigo Pes came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Howling Dawn U18's Fidel Espiridion. But to his dismay, Fidel Espiridion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Rodrigo Pes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Espiridion in the 62nd minute of play. If Fidel Espiridion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Howling Dawn U18 made a substitution. Florencio Fernendo replaced Juan Bittor. Santos Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Tulio in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Howling Dawn U18's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vladimiro Bartoli was slow to take the kick. During this time Caballeritos del Baile's players had a chance to rest. Rodrigo Pes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Fernendo in the 91st minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Zeledon Dino took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Rodrigo Pes to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Howling Dawn U18 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
