An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Tulio in the 8th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, Gilberto Inautzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Diego Milito made a precise shot to the right of Rodrigo Pes. Caballeritos del Baile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Caballeritos del Baile's Rodrigo Pes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Taurino in the 13th minute of play. After 14 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Ralondo. After having played for 16 minutes, Severiano Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Taurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Nofre in the 19th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Balvanera from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquin Nofre in the 25th minute of play forced Caballeritos del Baile's goalkeeper Rodrigo Pes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Caballeritos del Baile's Bruno Sabin got a free kick in the 26th minute. Joaquin Nofre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Taurino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Sabin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When Bruno Sabin fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caballeritos del Baile's protests and gave Bruno Sabin a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes Caballeritos del Baile got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Sabin. Gilberto Inautzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Rodrigo Pes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Albano Hitzeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Nofre was the one to do the kick off. Rodrigo Pes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Nofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Milito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Rodrigo Pes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Fliz was substituted for Gilberto Inautzi. Ovidio Ralondo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd minute, Eusebio Lehoi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rodrigo Pes. The goal made the score 0-3. The Deportivo Balvanera fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Deportivo Balvanera's Diego Milito looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 79 minutes of play Caballeritos del Baile's Ovidio Ralondo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ovidio Ralondo hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Severiano Taurino sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Caballeritos del Baile's Rodrigo Pes didn't even have to move. Rodrigo Pes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Milito in the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to Caballeritos del Baile getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Vladimiro Bartoli hit a great ball. Severiano Taurino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodrigo Pes. That made the score 0-5 after 87 minutes of play. Rodrigo Pes came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Balvanera's Severiano Taurino. But to his dismay, Severiano Taurino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Deportivo Balvanera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
