Mateo Pellegrino started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teo Fero in the 4th minute of play forced Pity 31's goalkeeper Javier Milei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Yupandú FC's Gervasio Bautista got control of the ball when Abelardo Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Yupandú FC's Bernardino Tiadoro in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Javier Milei was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 29 played minutes Yupandú FC got a freekick which was hit by Jose Refugio. Teo Fero hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Javier Milei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Izel in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Pellegrino got free with Gervasio Bautista in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Javier Milei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teo Fero in the 51st minute. After 52 played minutes Pity 31 got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Petrigai. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Pellegrino in the 55th minute of play forced Yupandú FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bautista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Pity 31 getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ladislao Ramone hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes Pity 31 got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Bertol. Javier Milei made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Teofilo Izel sent off a good shot on target. Mateo Pellegrino might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Bautista. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mateo Pellegrino ran back to his position shaking his head. 69 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Pellegrino came free, but Gervasio Bautista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Teofilo Izel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yupandú FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Javier Milei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pity 31 supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yupandú FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Yupandú FC.
