Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Metod Mlynar started the match with the kick off. Oliver Holub sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Foligno's Ferruccio Giovannelli got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Angelo Sasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metod Mlynar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Foligno's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pavol Koleno was slow to take the kick. During this time Slovakia's players had a chance to rest. In the 16th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Metod Mlynar to maneuver through the defense. If Kamber Coşkun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Aurelio Fantauzzi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 22 minutes, Metod Mlynar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the Foligno players grew even worse after the yellow card. Metod Mlynar kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Henrich Slany made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Kamber Coşkun sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kamber Coşkun got free with Henrich Slany in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Oliver Holub recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Giovannelli in the 33rd minute of play. Kamber Coşkun might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrich Slany. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kamber Coşkun ran back to his position shaking his head. When Ferruccio Giovannelli came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Foligno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ferruccio Giovannelli couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Kamber Coşkun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Kamber Coşkun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Zigmund Maliar hit a great ball. In the 53rd minute, Kamber Coşkun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Foligno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ferruccio Giovannelli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. 59 minutes into the game, Foligno's Ferruccio Giovannelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrich Slany made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 64 minutes of play, Foligno's Ferruccio Giovannelli made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrich Slany was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dennis Cusumano kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ferruccio Giovannelli hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 73rd minute of play forced Foligno's goalkeeper Angelo Sasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Zigmund Maliar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Comunardo Morini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the game, Daniele Fiorentino threw the ball into play from the sideline. Slovakia's Vít Biskup quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Ferruccio Giovannelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Holub to maneuver through the defense. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Foligno's Ferruccio Giovannelli. But to his dismay, Ferruccio Giovannelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. There was no doubt that Foligno were the better team. Foligno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
