Ime Mavros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but David Rotariu made a huge save. KANONIERZY's Christian Abbiati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zvonimir Prestin in the 14th minute of play. David Rotariu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ime Mavros in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match KANONIERZY got a corner. PoWer SC 2K5's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ali Hamza Hanefi ran over to the corner to take the kick. 20 minutes into the match, KANONIERZY's goal looked a bit too open when Zvonimir Prestin came free, but Christian Abbiati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 23rd minute of play forced PoWer SC 2K5's goalkeeper David Rotariu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by PoWer SC 2K5's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ali Hamza Hanefi was slow to take the kick. During this time KANONIERZY's players had a chance to rest. Ime Mavros was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. PoWer SC 2K5 were furious when Jan Kimmich was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in PoWer SC 2K5 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! Christian Abbiati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zvonimir Prestin in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ime Mavros got free with David Rotariu in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, PoWer SC 2K5's goal looked a bit too open when Ime Mavros came free, but David Rotariu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Abbiati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Klinsmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PoWer SC 2K5's David Rotariu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Hamza Hanefi in the 40th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zvonimir Prestin to strike the kick off in the second half. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. David Rotariu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Zgonina, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a rather tough play, PoWer SC 2K5's Lukas Goretzka got a free kick in the 63rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Rotariu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Zgonina charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Zgonina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, KANONIERZY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Zgonina to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes PoWer SC 2K5 got a freekick which was hit by Paul Mertesacker. PoWer SC 2K5's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
