In the 11th minute, Ariel Bernes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klement Tarka scored 0-2 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Avelino Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Luís Braga hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Benedykt Michna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TEAMGEIST Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 47 played minutes TEAMGEIST Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Bebeto Hero. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

52 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Avelino Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klement Tarka. 53 minutes into the game, Bebeto Hero recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Avelino Cunha. Bebeto Hero showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Klement Tarka could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Avelino Cunha made a huge save. When Gervásio Severiano came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the VB-Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervásio Severiano couldn't finish the play. Bebeto Hero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avelino Cunha having to interfere. VB-Team made a substitution. Qiu Sheng Bang replaced Sandro Leitão. TEAMGEIST Football Club's Zachariasz Czarnecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Braga in the 73rd minute of play. Zachariasz Czarnecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervásio Severiano in the 76th minute of play. In the 83rd minute Gervásio Severiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Czarnecki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Braga might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zachariasz Czarnecki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Braga ran back to his position shaking his head. Alexis Kalafatidis might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Avelino Cunha. The TEAMGEIST Football Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing TEAMGEIST Football Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
