After a rather tough play, Fc Kertzfeld's Lin Jing Yong got a free kick in the 7th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wim Wilmes in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helmut Lossimäe saved Fc Kertzfeld from getting behind. In the 13th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Lossimäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Lossimäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th minute, Mounir Clenet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Fc Kertzfeld's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Helmut Lossimäe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Toupin in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Fc Kertzfeld getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Gaston Toupin hit a great ball. Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 32nd minute of play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florent Sorlin in the 40th minute. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Fc Kertzfeld was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lin Jing Yong didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Helmut Lossimäe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florent Sorlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Teo Esiquio scored 1-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joël Rétière in the 51st minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Mounir Clenet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Kertzfeld's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. Mounir Clenet hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. David Eikelkamp's late challenge caught a Fc Kertzfeld's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Eikelkamp helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fc Kertzfeld booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. After 68 minutes Fc Kertzfeld's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Fc Kertzfeld's Helmut Lossimäe managed to reach the ball for a save. A hard shot 71 in the game by Gustaaf Groeneveldt from a close distance when the talented Helmut Lossimäe managed to make a qualified save. Fc Kertzfeld's players were relieved. Helmut Lossimäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Helmut Lossimäe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Kertzfeld made a substitution. Alix Poulain replaced Titouan Levet. Gijsbert ter Kruimer might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Helmut Lossimäe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran back to his position shaking his head. Joël Rétière struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Kertzfeld. Helmut Lossimäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Fc Kertzfeld got a freekick which was hit by Joël Rétière. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fc Kertzfeld.
