The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 19thth minute of the game 钱桦青 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when 钱桦青 came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Prasert Genius booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Nygaard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The free kick made by Denmark's Chris Nygaard led to a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 28th minute of play forced Prasert Genius's goalkeeper 邵西迅 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bertram Svenningsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邵西迅 having to interfere. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertram Svenningsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 邵西迅 having to make a save. Chris Nygaard's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, 邵西迅 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 邵西迅 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prasert Genius's 邵西迅 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 44th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. 邵西迅 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 51st minute of the match. Denmark were furious when Mathias Ludvigsen was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave Prasert Genius a penalty, 58 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by 袁希潮, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. 2-1. After 66 played minutes Prasert Genius got a freekick which was hit by 袁悦扬. Mikkel Wulff took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 邵西迅. 邵西迅 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. 邵西迅 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Mikkel Wulff received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. 邵西迅 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bertram Svenningsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by 钱桦青 in the 91st minute. With an all-out effort, Prasert Genius's Keld Paulsen threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from 许泉松, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Denmark had played much better football throughout.
