An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 18th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Zaccheo Andolina made a precise shot to the right of Zé Roberto Teixeira. Playa Malvín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Teixeira was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Michael Guisla made the kick off in the second half. In the last second Zé Roberto Teixeira throw himself and got hold of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta in the 60thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 62 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Fred Åkerström made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 71st minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zé Roberto Teixeira came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Sigfrido Auletta. But to his dismay, Sigfrido Auletta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 76 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Zé Roberto Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rdth minute of the game Sigfrido Auletta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Playa Malvín's Zé Roberto Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 86th minute of play. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Curto got free with Zé Roberto Teixeira in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Playa Malvín throughout the match.
