Amílton Oliveira took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casper Claes. Casper Claes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ricardo Zamora, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Zamora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 17th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Oliveira came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Magnifico FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. With an all-out effort, Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Casper Claes threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amílton Oliveira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Amílton Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Zamora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 46th minute of the match. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amílton Oliveira went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amílton Oliveira to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Amílton Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílton Oliveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casper Claes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casper Claes was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Magnifico FC - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Franco Ćuzović hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
