After 33 minutes of play, Triforce Super Soccer's Luiz Paulo de Lima made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Chaves was left in no man's land by his defense there! Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Idalécio Baldaia in the 37th minute of play. Cristian Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustavo Gomes in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Idalécio Baldaia to make the kick off. In the 68th minute of the match Dragões Barbudos FC got a corner. Triforce Super Soccer's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gustavo Gomes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gustavo Gomes made a great header on Dragões Barbudos FC's corner, it was just that Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Gomes in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristian Salles saved Triforce Super Soccer from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, Dragões Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Gomes to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the game, Pedro Augusto Coutinho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Cristian Salles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Augusto Coutinho in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristian Salles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Idalécio Baldaia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80thth minute of the game Idalécio Baldaia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 83 played minutes Triforce Super Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Xavier. Dragões Barbudos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
