Benprev's Clemente Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Shevchenko in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Benprev's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Baptista came free, but Clemente Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Benprev's goalkeeper Clemente Leobardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrézinho Maciel. In the 11th match minute, Teresópolis F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Clemente Leobardo came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Teresópolis F.C's Michel Shevchenko. But to his dismay, Michel Shevchenko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Teresópolis F.C booed when Benprev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 played minutes, Teresópolis F.C's Sandrinho Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemente Leobardo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Teresópolis F.C reached it. 36 minutes into the match, Teresópolis F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Eilert Mørck came free, but Velcho Rolanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Viana got free with Clemente Leobardo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Clemente Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Baptista in the 41st minute of play. Velcho Rolanski came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Benprev's Filip Hodne. But to his dismay, Filip Hodne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, Teresópolis F.C's Luiz Eduardo Rocha got a free kick in the 53rd minute. An unexpected shot in the 54th minute by Eilert Mørck got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Teresópolis F.C booed when Benprev was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute of the match Sandrinho Loyola sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Leobardo skillfully saved the ball. Clemente Leobardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Viana in the 64th minute of play. Filip Hodne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velcho Rolanski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Benprev got a corner. Teresópolis F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zé Paulo Madureira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zé Paulo Madureira made a great header on Benprev's corner, it was just that Teresópolis F.C's Velcho Rolanski managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucjan Klewinski in the 75th minute of play forced Benprev's goalkeeper Clemente Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michel Shevchenko's late challenge caught a Benprev's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Shevchenko helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Teresópolis F.C's Michel Shevchenko got a free kick in the 77th minute. Teresópolis F.C made a substitution. Abelardo Carvalho replaced Alan Baptista. Clemente Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Carvalho in the 84th minute of the match. Michel Shevchenko kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Guto Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Velcho Rolanski was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Teresópolis F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Hodne came free, but Velcho Rolanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Teresópolis F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
