The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute Oğuzhan Apaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Aguillar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Atlético Guidovalense's goal looked a bit too open when Oğuzhan Apaydın came free, but Guillen Aguillar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute Oğuzhan Apaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Aguillar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillen Aguillar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oğuzhan Apaydın in the 20th minute of the match. César Sampaio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oğuzhan Apaydın in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillen Aguillar saved Atlético Guidovalense from getting behind. Aníbal Toscano hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. When Airborne FC's Oğuzhan Apaydın in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Guidovalense's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Horia Lupu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Airborne FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Lupu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guillen Aguillar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Oğuzhan Apaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillen Aguillar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hazar Baykal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Paulo Barreto firmly grabbed it by the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oğuzhan Apaydın stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Atlético Guidovalense's Guillen Aguillar got control of the ball when Horia Lupu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Atlético Guidovalense getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Waldir Reis hit a great ball. Guillen Aguillar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Lupu in the 54th minute of play. A hard shot 58 in the game by Oğuzhan Apaydın from a close distance when the talented Guillen Aguillar managed to make a qualified save. Atlético Guidovalense's players were relieved. Oğuzhan Apaydın scored 0-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillen Aguillar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Atlético Guidovalense's Aníbal Toscano got a free kick in the 70th minute. Airborne FC made a substitution. Clemente Eger replaced Danilo Principe. With his leg Guillen Aguillar managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Airborne FC's Oğuzhan Apaydın fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Airborne FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
