A collision led to Olinda FMZ DMZ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Erasmo Sanches hit a great ball. Ixidor Lelerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Ondino in the 6th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Saiko FC got a freekick which was hit by Mateus Catarinense. Décio Dionísio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ixidor Lelerre made a huge save. Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Zé Sabóia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Goiano's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ixidor Lelerre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ixidor Lelerre was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Josué Gonçalves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Josué Gonçalves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. When Sixto Ondino fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saiko FC's protests and gave Sixto Ondino a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Eliseu Fonseca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ixidor Lelerre was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the game, Gabriel Bati recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ixidor Lelerre. Gabriel Bati showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After having played for 39 minutes, Eliseu Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saiko FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseu Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saiko FC's Gabriel Bati got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Ixidor Lelerre managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Saiko FC's Eliseu Fonseca fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 44 minutes into the game, Sebastião Perez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Zé Sabóia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute, Kip Galvan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Sixto Ondino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saiko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sixto Ondino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ixidor Lelerre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

If Raimundo Raymon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute Eliseu Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Fonseca in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ixidor Lelerre saved Olinda FMZ DMZ from getting behind. 70 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José Bittencourt came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ixidor Lelerre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Fonseca in the 79th minute of play. Gabriel Bati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Gabriel Bati had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ixidor Lelerre. Olinda FMZ DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriel Bati was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. 91 minutes into the match, Sebastião Perez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zé Sabóia. Raimundo Raymon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Sabóia having to interfere. Sixto Ondino took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ixidor Lelerre. Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Olinda FMZ DMZ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
