Teresópolis F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Triforce Super Soccer the free kick. After a rather tough play, Teresópolis F.C's Fred Viana got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Velcho Rolanski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice in the 8th minute of the match. With a little luck, Teresópolis F.C's Velcho Rolanski got control of the ball when Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Shevchenko in the 16th minute of play forced Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Cristian Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristian Salles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Shevchenko went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Velcho Rolanski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Paulo Alcântara in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Triforce Super Soccer's goalkeeper Cristian Salles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristian Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Viana in the 27th minute of the match. Velcho Rolanski made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when José Paulo Alcântara sent off a good shot on target. José Paulo Alcântara got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 31st minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. Cristian Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Velcho Rolanski skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 37th match minute, Teresópolis F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Loyola to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Velcho Rolanski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo Alcântara in the 40th minute of play forced Teresópolis F.C's goalkeeper Velcho Rolanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Velcho Rolanski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Paulo Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Teresópolis F.C were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luiz Eduardo Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cristian Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teresópolis F.C's Velcho Rolanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice in the 57th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Velcho Rolanski saved Teresópolis F.C from getting behind. In the 62nd minute, Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice made a precise shot to the right of Velcho Rolanski. Teresópolis F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Velcho Rolanski came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Triforce Super Soccer's Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice. But to his dismay, Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Teresópolis F.C's Velcho Rolanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo de Lima in the 72nd minute of play. A collision led to Teresópolis F.C getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Júnior Puyol hit a great ball. Júnior Puyol hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Triforce Super Soccer's Cristian Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Triforce Super Soccer from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Triforce Super Soccer booed when Teresópolis F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teresópolis F.C made a substitution. Abelardo Carvalho replaced Alan Baptista. In the 83rd minute, Sandrinho Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Velcho Rolanski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Teresópolis F.C were furious when Luiz Eduardo Rocha was red carded, 88 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 87 minutes into the game, one of Teresópolis F.C:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ato Jabari Hamilton-Maurice shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cristian Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucjan Klewinski in the 90th minute. If José Paulo Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Salles having to interfere. Triforce Super Soccer's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
