The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Bati got free with Daniel Chaves in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Idalécio Baldaia notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia. Zé Sabóia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia in the 24th minute of play. The Dragões Barbudos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dragões Barbudos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
