The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. João Pedro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Dragões Barbudos FC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Fernandes. Ali Nabi Civan struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Daniel Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benprev. In the 12th minute, Joélson Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Thomas Semeloglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dragões Barbudos FC's Daniel Chaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nabi Civan in the 14th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Joaquim Fernandes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Ali Nabi Civan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Chaves was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pedro Augusto Coutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Reis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. João Pedro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia in the 31st minute of play. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans' excitement grew in the 33rd match minute when Dragões Barbudos FC's Idalécio Baldaia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 38 minutes into the match, Benprev's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Fernandes came free, but João Pedro Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Augusto Coutinho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but João Pedro Reis made a huge save. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by Benprev's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thomas Semeloglou was slow to take the kick. During this time Dragões Barbudos FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Thomas Semeloglou got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Pedro Reis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

51 minutes into the game, Dragões Barbudos FC's Idalécio Baldaia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Pedro Reis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Benprev's João Pedro Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Augusto Coutinho in the 54th minute of play. João Pedro Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Semeloglou in the 59th minute of play. When Dragões Barbudos FC's Idalécio Baldaia in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 70 minutes, Joélson Messias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Benprev and the Dragões Barbudos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Benprev booed when Dragões Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Gomes didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pedro Reis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Idalécio Baldaia, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. If Idalécio Baldaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Idalécio Baldaia in the 83rd minute of play forced Benprev's goalkeeper João Pedro Reis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Benprev's Dé Severo got a free kick in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Benprev's goal looked a bit too open when Idalécio Baldaia came free, but João Pedro Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Nabi Civan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Daniel Chaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Dragões Barbudos FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Gildo Marques hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Gică Moisescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragões Barbudos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.
