The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Teofil Gorzkiewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Gustavo Tande saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Zé Pedro Vianna in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Roger Freire. Roger Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Tande having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Teofil Gorzkiewicz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Gustavo Tande was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Teofil Gorzkiewicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luís Gustavo Tande made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A sloppy throw-in by Wanderson Lira in the 23rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Thorin SC's Eriberto Prestes. Luís Gustavo Tande made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 25th minute of play. Luís Gustavo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Thorin SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Augusto Arce to maneuver through the defense. Juan Pablo Teran's shot from long distance in the 33rd minute was not bad at all, but Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. After 35 played minutes Teofil Gorzkiewicz rounded Thorin SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. Teofil Gorzkiewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Luís Gustavo Tande made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Teofil Gorzkiewicz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Gustavo Tande. The goal made the score 4-0. Teofil Gorzkiewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Luís Gustavo Tande when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 45 in the game by Teofil Gorzkiewicz from a close distance when the talented Luís Gustavo Tande managed to make a qualified save. Thorin SC's players were relieved. Teofil Gorzkiewicz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Luís Gustavo Tande when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teofil Gorzkiewicz made a kick off. Teofil Gorzkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Gustavo Tande took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teofil Gorzkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luís Gustavo Tande showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofil Gorzkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thorin SC's Luís Gustavo Tande played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Gorzkiewicz in the 58th minute of play. Thorin SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teofil Gorzkiewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Diogo Faria struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Luís Gustavo Tande didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIMETER EC -DMZ-. Luís Gustavo Tande came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by TIMETER EC -DMZ-'s Diogo Faria. But to his dismay, Diogo Faria quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. A collision led to Thorin SC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Zé Pedro Vianna hit a great ball. Diogo Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Gustavo Tande having to interfere. The supporters of TIMETER EC -DMZ- booed when Thorin SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adilson Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Thorin SC defense, Diogo Faria kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Gustavo Tande. The Thorin SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Gustavo Tande should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the TIMETER EC -DMZ- players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
