After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Raimundo Raymon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olinda FMZ DMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Raymon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zé Sabóia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseu Fonseca in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ixidor Lelerre saved Olinda FMZ DMZ from getting behind. In the 21st minute Eliseu Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ixidor Lelerre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Bati in the 31st minute of play forced Olinda FMZ DMZ's goalkeeper Ixidor Lelerre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute, Olinda FMZ DMZ's Raimundo Raymon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Sabóia. Zé Sabóia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Zé Sabóia made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Sebastião Perez sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Saiko FC's Zé Sabóia got control of the ball when Sebastião Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kip Galvan fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olinda FMZ DMZ's protests and gave Kip Galvan a yellow card for diving instead. Eliseu Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ixidor Lelerre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseu Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Goiano made a kick off. Gabriel Bati received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Ixidor Lelerre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gabriel Bati fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saiko FC's protests and gave Gabriel Bati a yellow card for diving instead. Gabriel Bati hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Eliseu Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Ixidor Lelerre when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A collision led to Saiko FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Wesley Lira hit a great ball. If Sebastião Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Sabóia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Raymon in the 62nd minute of play. In the 75thth minute of the game Eliseu Fonseca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olinda FMZ DMZ's Ixidor Lelerre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ixidor Lelerre made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gabriel Bati sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Saiko FC were awarded a corner. Sixto Ondino went to the cornerflag to take it. Walmir Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Ixidor Lelerre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Bati in the 88th minute of the match. Raimundo Raymon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the match, Saiko FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastião Perez came free, but Zé Sabóia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Sabóia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastião Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
